The owner of Bulwark Exterminating feels like he just won the lottery!  According to Google…

“Over 100,000 businesses were identified as Favorite Places, representing less than 1% of the 28 million U.S. businesses. The internet is a buzz wondering how this will work.  Cnet reported on this feature and the possibilities it holds…

“Google has taken the concept a step further, however, in the use of the QR codes to link to the Place Pages. Owners of smartphones with a camera (Google specifically said that iPhone, Android, and most BlackBerry owners would be supported, but others may work as well) and QR code scanning applications will be able to launch this information in their phone’s browser.” -CNET

It really does seem an honor to be found by Google and recognized by the information leader as a “Favorite Place.” But what is google really after?  More information?  More votes?  More visitors?  Becoming the directory of choice, finally ousting the phone books all together? Should Bulwark give into this take over?

We’re a Favorite Place on Google!

Jon McCain step out on a limb and called attention to some of the new funds going out of the national government for the sake of economic stimulus. A recent report from our local Phoenix Pest Controller debates the value of thisstimulus money when it comes to researching ants. The report says that 3.5 jobs will be supported at the Arizona schools with this near million of taxpayer’s dollars.
